Gala is an industry professional who started from a humble beginning, worked her way to managing and now helps others with her work at Restaurant Reputations. And it all started with pizza.
Her experiences in bartending and management led her to Restaurant Reputations earlier this year. After time spent working on social media posts and review responses, Gala now begins the transition to Head of Customer Relations.
Gala got her start at a Pizza Hut. Most recently she worked as a manger at The Point in Fells, Baltimore. This became where her first encounter with Restaurant Reputations occurred.
“I met with Todd and then we all sat and learned everything that they offered. Erica [Owner of The Point] knew that it was definitely something she needed and needed for the restaurant.” Gala continued, “I loved it because I knew the amount of work it took off my shoulders was insane.”
In listing off the daily duties involved with social media she quickly put in plain words why it was so easy to see the value in the service as a restaurant manager and then made the decision to jump on board.
“I’ve been on both sides so I know how it is from a manger’s perspective too. So when I see a review I’m more able to say, ‘Hey, is there a certain way you want to approach this?’ I’m all ears.” Gala lamented, “I never thought I would get tired of bartending.” She continued by explaining why she was excited about joining Restaurant Reputations.
“It’s a lively company and its a small company where we’re all growing together and willing to learn. I still get to visit the restaurants. I love to go visit our clients.” She continued, “It’s not a stuffy nine to five desk job. It was a very easy transition.”
Between experience and excitement, Gala highlights the passion for the people and the processes that drive Restaurant Reputations to be the best for the clients.
